When Eric is not protecting the People of Kendall County in court, he is working to protect them within the community. As a Firefighter/EMT for the Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District, Eric dedicates his time and even his personal safety to save lives and protect the property of those who live and work in Kendall County. It is his selfless dedication and commitment to protecting people who need help that drives Eric to not only be an excellent firefighter as well as a great prosecutor for Kendall County.
Eric is also actively involved in many community organizations throughout Kendall County including:
Kendall County Food Pantry Executive Board
Kendall County Juvenile Justice Council President
Oswegoland Optimist Club
Senior Services
Oswego Youth Tackle Football
Citizens Police Academy
Oswego Masonic Lodge # 303
Yorkville Youth Sports Coach
Over the last several years, Eric has volunteered counless hours to help with the annual Bowl for Kids Sake fundraiser for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. This event raises thousands of dollars to help match at-risk children with adult mentors who are willing to dedicate their time to make a difference in a child's life.
Eric was awarded a Certificate of Recognition from the United City of Yorkville for demonstrating the six pillars of character (trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship) during the Character Counts Week.
